Hi, I’m Sara Lynn Calderon.

When you work with me at Together Family Counseling, you’re not just hiring any therapist. You’re hiring your therapist. As a member of your team and support system, my role is to help you get where you want to go.

Therapy is inherently a vulnerable process that requires much trust and bravery. Work with someone who understands the honor of being a part of your support team.

Welcome!

Enjoy a brief introduction video to help you get a sense of my personality and passion for therapy.

My counseling style is…

  • Welcoming

People from all walks of life and all histories are welcome here. I’ve worked in harmony with clients of many diverse cultures and belief systems. Your individuality will be respected and your vulnerability will be honored.

  • Authentic

We may start out as strangers, but it won’t last long! I often describe myself as an open book and encourage clients to ask me any questions that can help them feel more comfortable. I will always show up as myself so you can too.

  • Compassionately direct

You won’t need to worry about me “beating around the bush,” making empty promises, or saying things I don’t mean. When the time comes for tough conversations, they will be within the context of kindness and support.

  • Feedback-Oriented

You are the expert on your life and needs. My role is to support you on your journey and provide information and encouragement. There’s no such thing as a perfect person (or therapist!) When we are open and honest with one another, we can address and overcome any barrier.
