True Apologies

There are many ways to say “I’m sorry,” but not all are created equal. As our kiddos are learning how to repair broken trust or make amends for hurtful behavior, it can be hard to explain sometimes why rolling their eyes and mumbling “I’m sorry” under their breath doesn’t quite cut it.

This brief visual guide can help families teach a structured method of apologies to help kids strengthen their relationship skills. Feel free to adapt it to your family’s needs! If you find something that works better, please let me know and I’d be happy to update it.
